Designing a house is done in two ways, either by knocking down the walls and restoring them by great archways or by creating an illusion to make the space look larger or smaller. Yes, as one cannot take the risk of knocking down the place, it is always good to create illusions.

 Windows are always a right place to sit next to and have a cup of coffee, looking at the amazing views outside to lighten up the mood. Yes, if your windows can’t give you a heart-warming view, it is good to drape them with nice curtains. The spaciousness in the room is proportional to the number of windows it has. It is hard to place windows in the wall wherever we want, so we can just place the mirrors instead to make the place look bigger. Mirrors act as artificial windows. The choosy colors and the architectural choices can also make the room look spacious. And it always necessary to decide between what we need and what we want. So do not fill up the room with all the furniture we have. Make good choices and place them in the right place.

Choosing the right Colors and textures to enhance the look of your home

Colors are the second important things that make a great difference in the room’s environment. They represent the personality. Choose a color that suits your personality. Play with the textures.  Vertical lines on the wall increase the height of the room. It works for those apartments with low roofs. The long the wall goes, the long the room looks. Bright colors on the lengthy walls can make the room look like a never ending corridor and vice versa.

Pick a theme for every individual room in the house. Go according to the theme while picking the colors.
